IFA Food is the large group in Kuwait. They have been given contract by the Govt of Kuwait, to build and operate the food market in Kuwait. They created beautiful world-class infrastructure for this purpose.

Every fruit and vegetables and any food material coming into Kuwait, has to go through their market.

Problem

Creating Metro like Wholesale B2B market environment

IFA Food’s management were instructed by the rulers of Kuwait to have a Metro kind of environment of wholesale B2B market.

As this model didn’t fructify, the management decided to come up with the same model of Metro format within specified time of 90 days, for the hypermarket environment having B2B store format.

Solution

SAP IS Retail, Point of Sale (PoS)

The management approached SEAL Infotech as we had this domain experience in handling Retail processes in record time.

Though many big companies were present in the region but they couldn’t accept this proposal to implement but we took this as a challenge.

We built and completed a B2B model based on exact processes of Metro, using SAP IS Retail with front-end Point of Sale (PoS), having B2B loyalty and complete process management, in a record time of 3 months.

Result

Wholesale B2B hypermarket – Oncost

We successfully completed SAP IS Retail implementation and we created B2B hypermarket named Oncost. Today they have 27 stores in Kuwait with successful operations of every business process, having implemented best practices of what world-wide B2B Metro uses, which was activated and implemented successfully in a record time.

Uniqueness is that no implementation partner would have taken this challenge, everyone denied that they will not be able to complete this task. We took this as a challenge, we did it in record time of 3 months and successfully implemented in the region based on our domain experience in SAP IS Retail.
